Our customer develops, produces and markets packaging and hygiene solutions for single use in the food-industry, primarily fruit/vegetables but also meat/poultry and on top for the medical sector. The three production sites in the heart of Europe are in a continuous process of technological development that ensures optimum quality, safety and competitiveness. Every year, more than 100,000 tonnes of waste paper and cardboard are processed in a closed cycle with minimal water consumption. A total of around 2 billion packagings are produced annually on highly efficient production lines, seven days a week. Together with its customers, who are already involved in the product development phase, our customer creates market-orientated packaging solutions. We are looking for a Sales Manager (m/f/d) for Great Britain to join the company as soon as possible.





  • Maintaining and building long-term customer relationships and acquiring new customers in the food sector (primarily fruit/vegetables)
  • Preparation and negotiation of offers up to the conclusion of the contract
  • Ongoing market observation including the preparation of market and competition analyses
  • Management of customer projects across all project phases, coordination and harmonisation with internal and external project participants
  • Optimisation of cooperation between field sales, office sales and application technology
  • Collaboration in the creation and further development of marketing and sales concepts



  • Successfully completed commercial or technical training or studies
  • Ideally several years of professional experience in field sales in the packaging industry. Contacts with food distributors/retailers would be an advantage
  • Strong communicator with persuasive power, negotiating skills and a high level of self-motivation
  • Confident demeanour towards customers and business partners as well as strong customer orientation
  • Basic technical understanding and an affinity for products requiring explanation desirable
  • Readiness for intensive travelling
